Bob Jacobson (sax, clarinet, flute) l] He has played in numerous jazz, R&B, classic rock and salsa bands.
Michael Spittel (guitar) has played in numerous bands, including the jazz group Straight, No Chaser. While living in Peru, he introduced jazz to the city of Cusco.
For the past six years he has played solo guitar weekly at Gertrude's Restaurant at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
Swing 'n' Samba has added bass player
Scott MacLeod. Scott's experience includes accompanying Windham Hill recording artist/guitarist Michael Hedges, playing on the Lady Baltimore and teaching jazz guitar five years at UMBC.
Swing 'n' Samba plays not only those two musical genres but blues, ballads, bossa nova. Latin, jazz waltzes and a bit of pop and rock.
The duo may be expanded to trio (with bass), quartet (bass and drums) or even quintet (a second horn).
